At Huggy ("we," "our," or "us"), your privacy is our top priority — especially because our App is designed for children and teenagers. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our emotional wellbeing mobile application (the "App"). The short version: we don't collect any personal data.

Huggy is built with a 100% local-first architecture. This means:

2. Information Stored Locally

The App stores the following information exclusively on your device:

• • Onboarding and personality quiz responses

This data never leaves your device. We have no ability to access, read, or retrieve any of this information. If you uninstall the App, all data is permanently deleted from your device.

3. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR)

Huggy is designed for users aged 8-18. We take children's privacy extremely seriously:

• • COPPA Compliance: Since we do not collect any personal information from children (or anyone), we fully comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
• • GDPR Compliance: We do not process personal data, so there is no data processing to regulate. No consent is required because no data is collected
• • No parental consent needed: Because the App operates entirely offline and locally, no parental consent for data collection is required

We encourage parents and guardians to review the App and discuss its content with their children.

4. Third-Party Services

Huggy does not integrate with any third-party data services. The App does not:

• • Use third-party analytics (no Google Analytics, no Firebase Analytics)

• • Connect to external APIs for data processing

The App is distributed through Apple App Store and Google Play Store, which have their own privacy policies and may collect information about downloads and usage at the platform level. We do not have access to this information.

We do not use any analytics tools within the App. We do not track:

Our website (tryhuggy.com) is a static informational site. It does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking technologies. No personal data is collected through the website.
